"There is no gray."by johst582Comment by Arcanist: I was one of the three.
This image was far underrated, showing a brilliant use of color and greyscale to exemplify what the challenge REALLY meant to me. Use color to spotlight a black and white subject. Perhaps the reverse of that (using black and white with a colorized main focal point) is what forced so many to hammer this image.
I'm thinking it should be oobie'd. |

Day 3: Mountains of saltby johst582Comment by slaakso: The salt looks so different from the sugar. It almost looks corrosive. I live on an island and I know corrosion. The detail shows the striations on the facets or Mt peaks. I like the B&W. Are you going to do a whole recipe of ingredients, that could be fun. |

"There is no gray."by johst582Comment by trevytrev: Wow, very creative. The beauty behind this shot is if you step across the room and look at this or cross your eyes it really is gray. You get a ten from me as I can't image how you get more "black and white in color than this", awsome job! |

Day 3: Mountains of saltby johst582Comment by carofo: This is sooooo cool! I would not have guessed what it was... This is a great idea and the B&W makes this almost lunar. Looks like a crater. Can't wait to see what else you come up with. |
