You can see some print on two of the pages - yes, that's the raster pitch that you see. One single letter would take up the whole picture at this scale.

Amazing! These really don't look like they could possibly be regular pages! I wonder if fanning some of them so we could see some of the ink on the pages would help give a sense of scale? Perhaps showing a page number or letter?

An OOBIE nomination is a little oddball feather in your cap, even if your name isn't pulled out of the envelope. You get my vote.
Damn. I think maybe this is the most literal use of 'black and white in colour' that I've ever seen. heh.
