I feel like I'm about to cry at work. It is so sad when we lose our best friends, particularly in this way. I cannot fathom what it will be like when I lose mine. Although Chief cannot replace Albert, know that he misses him too. And Chief knows you miss him. I'm sure Albert misses you too but he appreciates the sunsets every evening.

Great. Now I'm crying at work.

What a cute dog! She looks like she's full of spunk, ready for action! I like the border & how you have her feet popping thru it, only thing I might've done a little different was to have her tail pop out thru the border too, just my 2 cents though :)

This is very touching and a really sad story to boot. I am sorry you had to see that happen to him. That is probably what sticks with you more than anything.

The thing to try and focus on tho is the quality time each of you gave each other. He might have died sooner had you not found him when you did. No doubt the time he spent with you was pure quality time.

This is a lovely tribute page and how wonderful that you were able to salvage these pics.

He is beautimus. :)

wot a gorgeous dog .. i love that beautiful adoring expression .. how wonderful that you have another dog after that very sad and distressing experience with albert .. and i'm sure the pain will ease, especially seeing you have jeanie ... i know that one dog never replaces another, but the joy you get from having this lovely dog around should soften the pain of your loss ... it must'v made the whole thing heaps worse that you lost all your photographs of albert .. the one's you took from your camera phone are gorgeous ... :)
