Ok, nice composition, I like the amazing texture of the girl's apron, it really gives the image the history it deserves. Also, great capture of her reflection in the window. Very nice.

Nice photo, Jon, but for me it's the story makes it resonate so sweetly. I know I say this every other day, but you have a gift for storytelling (as well as for photography, OBviously) and have really met this photo/blog challenge head-on.

Looks good to me! Lovely statues, such a gorgeous blue. Clumsy or not, please don't tumble out the window for the sake of your photography.

I don't go quite so far here in this other world capital, though I do sometimes feel like the village idiot as I find myself smiling at all sorts of people.

Cool b&w photo. NOT a criticism, but am I the only one to notice the lens flare? It's like a big bubble. I have expect Glenda the Witch of the North to appear!

another great read and another great shot ... and if you do put yourself out there and actually smile and say hi to total strangers you'll get so many different reactions .. i find that the positive ones far outweigh the ones that are negative .. to have a nice moment with a total stranger is just excellent ... :)

These are interesting pieces of work. I'm curious as to whether these two were more prominent when they were first placed on the building. Sounds like people might find it as an oddity now? At least it looks like they are being taken care of. They look like they are in good condition. Oh I see there are spotlights. Must be interesting to see these at night.
