Day 30 Legoby jonfrommkComment by Alicia: Very sweet, Jon. This would make a great commercial for Legos. I used to play with them and just LOVED my Legos - that was in the good old days (I dare you to say anything!!) when we only had very simple ones, but still managed to build interesting constructions.
Stepping on the Lego - yes, I'm familiar with that. You have to wash your mouth out with soap afterwards.
The fun colors falling through the air - very well captured! And the girls are too cute. |

Day 30 Legoby jonfrommkComment by karmat: The only thing that hurts worse than a lego is a miniature die cast airplane. Oh my freaking gosh, that has got to be one of the worst pains in the world.
This is such a fun looking shot. Wonder if I can get my kids to mess something up for me. More importantly, wonder if I can get my husband to clean it up? |

Day 29 - Mothby jonfrommkComment by rachelellen: In the thumb, this looked like a scientific drawing by Leonardo Da Vinci. In full size... I'm glad I'm not creeped out about moths. (if it had been a centipede... shudder). Really, this is a quite nice shot, with nice detail, and I know all about those quiet days. I unfortunately have skipped a few, but at least I'm soldiering on, right? right? [crickets.] |

Day 28 - The Domeby jonfrommkComment by rachelellen: You certainly do carpe those diems, and thank you for photographing them for us. :) When your daughter has grown old enough to understand how awesome and involved a dad you are, she will be very grateful.
I love the dome shot; my monitor is a bit dark right now (the computer game my son plays messes with the settings) and that lends a certain ominousness to the clouds that goes really well with the main subject. |

Day 26 On the fringe of the madding crowdby jonfrommkComment by bimble: I love this shot, and I know exactly what you mean about the feeling of stepping off a train, like you've just accomplished something.
People over here aren't quite so grumpy after a commute, but I do know what you mean about Euston, I've been through there a couple of times, and if you're smiling at people I'm surprised they haven't reported you to the station staff yet :P |
