I love how you used the shutter speed to create some movement which isolates your son very well. Also increasing the brightness in the areas you did puts the focal point on him and the statue!

Just kidding. Cool that he wanted this and it's very effective. I love the tourist tumult around him and the way you have processed this so he's both a part of and separate from the scene. She's magnificently displayed, isn't she?

eta I am working on a laptop this morning which makes it awkward to see other comments before I post - but I do scroll down and read them after. Fun to see that we were all struck by the same thing - you definitely succeeded.
