 St Bernard LAX

The game being played is Lacrosse, otherwise known as LAX. It a game of Native American heritage. Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports in the USA, known for being extremely fast and hard hitting.

my dad used to play lacrosse 50 years ago for william hulme grammar school, iron bar in the hollow handle of your stick i think i recall him tlaking about. nice action shot and detail but think for sport like this colour would work better

We used to play lacrosse in high school gym class and my school also played in a league but it was only for girls. Then it seemed to lose popularity. It's good to see it making a comeback.

Great photo! Very nice in B&W. Just wondering what the name of the game is? It looks somewhat like hurling, but that's played with other attributes.

I love the B&W! As Richard said, the lightened center works perfectly. Great clarity in the stopped action.

Great use of lighten center with darker border vignette. Really throws attention to the athletes and the competition. Love the monochrome conversion. Good toning.
