Good Morning!!by rozComment by EntertainMe: Similar compliment to the hummingbird entry, I like your choice to contrast the red against a green environment. Well composed and captured. I think I will also see this one on the front page. |

housefly in the gardenby rozComment by P-A-U-L: This is much better than that other fly - the voters must be blind!
Yours has lovely water drops and a nice low ISO. I demand a revote:)
Thanks again for the super macro tips.
FWIW I like the strong contrast.

housefly in the gardenby rozComment by streetpigeon: A jewel, and still sapphires and diamonds are dear. Fascinating, compelling, admirable. The focus fade on the wings is also lovely, as if a quilt has been settled on the fly's back. Nice light. |

I'm looking for a hat as dinner right now... |
Ohh your comment makes me want to explain it...
In German, if we are quite sure something is going to happen, we say: Ich fresse einen Besen wenn.." which literally means: "I'll eat a broom, if..."
But I was pretty sure noboy would understand that so I was looking on an internet site for English idioms what might have a similar meaning and I got the suggestion: "I'll eat my hat if..."
Since I predicted a blue in my first comment during voting but your picture ended up with a yellow ribbon I felt obliged to say in a funny way that my prediciton didn't come true and now I should make my announcement (eating my hat) come true. That's it. |
