Very interesting edit! I like that you had a different "vision" of your shot and then worked to achieve it. As for colors being different on DPC, if you shoot in RAW, you need to "convert to profile" to sRGB from the native format. This will make the colors appropriate for the web. It's an option in Photoshop under "Edit".

Those two lamp posts in the huge sky, they look like they are forming a portal to something. I love the light and colors of this photo and it's interesting to look at.

This is a fascinating photo. It's like a city in the middle of nowhere! You've got those light poles and signs and all the traffic but then there's the beautiful green hills and big blue sky. What great a contrast.
