you are a brave woman. i have not gotten up the nerve yet to go out and just take pictures anywhere i am. I need to do that more because I think I have missed out on some pretty interesting stuff. The weird thing about this shot is that when I looked at it without reading the description I actually thought that they were pencils and rulers (In fact I was about to say to you '$16:60 for a pencil??? You are having a laugh!!!!!' Then I looked again and it all became clear (no pun intended)

Nice shot and top men both Greg (for supporting you in public) and the store keeper for recognising your addiction

i really liked the sepia version but this just blows it away

That crashing wave is stupendous, the colours leap right at you and it has a wonderful sheen to it which is completely complimented by the red and black of the ship on the horizon
