The golden tones in the background are so pretty and they bring out the tiny bit of gold on the bird. And I'm always amazed when someone has one of these bird photos where you can see every single little feather.

White-Breasted Nuthatchby MaryOComment by Techo: This shot has excellent lighting and tones. The atmosphere is wonderful. Only pitty the eye and beak or not in foces. If the DOF would've been deeper, to get the whole bird in focus, would then let down the great bokeh this shot has. Kind of a coin toss. Guess it didn't wanna pose that day ;) |
