I think I'm the child in the lead, I'm slightly older than the other. It's a real me/ dream me/ way in the past me. My ocean is the Atlantic, my beach is Nauset. But I'll bet that those children are everyone of us, each with our own ocean and beach. Such universal appeal to this image, speaks to everyones lost heart.

Makes me remember running on the beach as a kid...I love the tones and murkiness, and how the kids are both framed by the waves. Fantastic!
