As you progress in your DPC career, you'll want to pay particular attention to the background of your shots. Here, the lighting on the wall creates an unintended line that isn't quite distracting, but it's not helping very much. The absence of the eyes behind the mask gives an eerie and uncomfortable feel that doesn't go with the smile on the mask or the position of the head tilt. I'm afraid this won't do well, but don't get discouraged. You were on the right track with meeting the challenge; just some technical issues that need working out for next time.

I like the fuzzy little new antlers. Nice focus and DOF. I'm quite impressed with your lens. I have a rebel XTi and am looking for a good zoom lens. I have motion blur problems with my Canon 70-300mm IS lens. How close to the subject were you when you took this shot?

Nice shot. I have never seen one of these. You got excellent detail with the beautiful texture of the fur, the front teeth, and the little hands. How I wish that white bit in the lower left wasn't there, but such is wildlife photography -- you get what you can. And you did it well.
