If only you had gotten a pic of him whistling! These guys are hilarious to watch just before they hibernate- like mammalian caterpillars crawling among the rocks. The composition with the snow? just showing is great. |

Great shot! I find the white bit at the front at little distracting. Awesome detail and clarity on the marmot. |

Nice and plump with a good thick fur coat on him - I bet he was the settlers friend :- )

Nice shot. I have never seen one of these. You got excellent detail with the beautiful texture of the fur, the front teeth, and the little hands. How I wish that white bit in the lower left wasn't there, but such is wildlife photography -- you get what you can. And you did it well. |
