I gave this a 6 in voting. The orange cast bothered me and there seemed to be some odd texture as the focus drops off. Pleasing comp, nice gaze and nice smile. Not a DPC WOW image but not a stinker either.

Much like my shot, the score you got baffles me too. Technically I think this shot is spot on, although I am bothered by the overall orange look to the image. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but for me it's not working. However, that in now way leads me to believe that the low 5.2 score is justified. I also think a slight vignette would have really helped to draw the viewers eyes more to the subjects face. But here eyes do that so well anyways so perhaps I'm wrong on that one. ;-)

Nice sharp focus on the eyes. I don't mind the warmness of the photos, but I generally like warm photos. I don't mind the crop nor do I mind the pose, but I am curious if the crop and the pose don't work that well in this instance? I'm not very good at portraits though, so your mileage may vary. I still think it is a good shot nonetheless.

I believe that you used multiple exposures, but this effect could be easily achieved without it in post-processing

Beautiful eyes and great focus on them. But I think that the crop is a little too tight, an other point might be the color, overall, it looks a bit too redish.
