The wide-angle creates a rather ominous aspect to the street, but I like that because it fits for this photo. As merely a personal preference, I would probably have cropped out the van on the left, and past the cab of the truck on the right (in order to see a full car - mostly - first.) Good Job! :)

This is awesome. I love Tiger! 20 years old! Wow! She really doesn't look that old does she. My mom had a cat that lived to be just a hair under 23. She's beautiful. She looks almost exactly like a cat I used to have.

Can't wait to see more from your D300 :)

Agree with previous comments that Oreo cookie look is great. But what makes it special is that the "icing" is so interesting, with the mountains/hills, rays of light and clouds in the middle section. Very nice.
