Lovely b&w and an unusual and touching take on the challenge. I believe there's a whole universe just in that one big dollop of dew at the front. Only detraction in the shot, for me, is the visible sensor dust in the background (if I'm correctly identifying it as sensor dust).

I like the difference in color in your photo. The leaves really stand out against the clear ice. Maybe you could have zoomed out a little more to show the size difference between the leaves and the ice.

I like this very much, the brooding, metaphorical essence of it. I like the processing, it works very well. What I'm not *sure* I like as much is the "looking down" perspective on the child. I mean, compositionally this works extremely well, and I suppose the metaphor on "child observed" rather than "from the perspective of a child", but still a part of me wants to see you working from a much lower angle here.

This made me smile when I came across it, I love the title and the warmth of her face contrasting with the snow. I also like that it seems such a big job for such a little girl but her expression says she's enjoying the challenge. My nit pick is that the diagonal line across the top draws my eye, I like it better cropped just below the path. Just because it makes it easier for me to focus on the subject and I'm lazy that way.
