This is amazing, even compelling, portraiture. The angle, the gloss on her fur especially at the top of her head, the eyes, the expression really "show" this dog. A good life.

There's something I really like about this shot. at thumbnail size I thought it was nails. For a flower it has a great gritty, edgy feel. great job!

It reminds me of a classic painting.
The purple âportrait styleâ background along with the bright yellow border is such an unusual combination. I know this is meant to be a family birthday card/wish, and I hope you are not offended by my desire to have everyone in the world take a closer look at this shot Shez.

It just reminds me of a combination of somewhere between The Mona Lisa and Peeweeâs playhouse. The smooth textures of the skin and faces along with the color combination gives this an animated feel but the classic pose and square features give it back that professional feeling. The two contrasts give this the most unusual quality.

That type of contrast and unusual quality is what really makes this stand out to me. Itâs something I aspire to in my own work when Iâm shooting for unique. I can picture several of these style pictures hanging in a row on a wall in your home with a sign that says WELCOME. Maybe another picture showing only one of the agave pictures in place with one of you on a yellow ladder in the process of hanging the second picture. This just makes me smile and I've added it to my favorites.
