A macro shot of one of my cactus plants, sprinkled with water, to form crystal droplets.

This is a close up of 27a, called "Cactus Bloom".....

Like the contrast of harsh/sharp spikes against fluid/soft water droplets. Great abstract!

Being this close up has turned this into a really interesting abstract. Very nice work Shez!!

Lots of intricate detail here ... without the explanation and accompanying shot not sure I'd know what it was. And that really adds to the shot, IMO. Sort of a mystery.

Two very nice cactus shots although I think I prefer this one for its abstract nature...It almost feels as if you could be looking at ice formations, and you have done a terrific job on the focus to keep them so sharp

I like the natural symmetry. There's a general overall symmetry, but the details are all different. It makes for a visually interesting shot.

Very nice but I like your other version better. I'm just a detail freak. :P

this version looks awesome as well. the high contrast look works very well, this has a very nice abstract feel.

Fascinating the way the droplets adhere to the spikes. They're pierced, impaled rather than resting on them. It's not an easy subject to photograph, but an attractive one, none-the-less.
