This I think has the makings of a impressive shot, but without a point of interest it doesn't grab me in the same way some other similar shots have in this challenge.

I like the interaction of the curly vine and the water drop. The vine has some color that could have been increased to add more interest. The leaf in the background, to me, is distracting. Everytime I follow the vine down, I end up being diverted to the vein in the leaf and led out of the frame. To get a higher score, learn to simplify, cut down the objects in the frame to the bare essentials and avoid things that could detract from what you want the viewer to see.

Critique Club Review:

Focus is nice and sharp. Depth of field is used well to isolate the subject. Maybe even a bit more shallow to soften the camera even more, might have worked well.

Color, saturation and hue are good. Brightness and contrast are good also. The seed is rendered excellently.

About the only thing that I don't care for, is the bright white blank space all around. The camera, and seed seem to float in a sea of bright nothing. Some shadow for the camera and wires would have helped for me.
