New Tinby crisa58Comment by decoteau: This was the sort of picture that I imagined might be original for this challenge. The contrast of the old and new materials along with the golden sunlight is powerful. |

New Tinby crisa58Comment by Kathyc: The idea is good here. It might have been more effective to be a little closer to better show the difference in texture between the old and the new metal. Shooting more from the corner, using more of the fence---it has nice lines perpendicular to the building siding and less of the grass might enhance the effort. |

Summer Smileby crisa58Comment by RedRuthann: Great photography. I especially like the way the light shines through his eyelashes. So many textures here too. He looks like he is really enjoying that watermelon! I like how the light really shows off the juice! Very well done! 9 Ruthann |

Summer Smileby crisa58Comment by MrsKro: This is really nice. I think the colors and the red-headed, blue-eyed boy really works with this photo. Great Job.. 9 kdjohnson |

Summer Smileby crisa58Comment by jmsetzler: This is an excellent portrait photo... very nice work... The texture of the watermelon slice works well, as does the texture of the freckles on the child's face... I love the composition on this one.. it makes me wonder what he is looking at in the distance outside the frame. The backlighting behind his eye on the right side of the frame adds a nice touch as well... good shot :) = 8 - jmsetzler |
