Comment by SJCarter:
This is terrific! The perspective/angle of the trees "looming" is perfect for the mood of the piece. Fantastic color range. Beautiful job.

Comment by SJCarter:
I really like the unusual composition here, but agree that the crop is a tad tight. The soft focus and glow is nice - I might consider bumping up the color sat a hair too. Great imaginative shot.

Sometimes their's nothing better than a capture of a child's personality. This is a great pic! You can tell the boy's enjoying himself, and that just makes the pic come alive!

Comment by SJCarter:
I have to echo the others sentiments about the crop. I think you could cut more off the top without losing the "high sky" effect you were going for. I would also bump up the color sat in the sky. It's a beautiful pastoral scene. I like the warm tones of the barn and foreground.

Very Nice! a bit over sharp, but honestly i can't judge that perfactly because of my monitor. Nice DOF, i like how the ribbon goes out of focus in the left hand corner. Nice job!

Agree with others to crop out the upper half of the sky. Then I'd try lightening it up a bit.

The bright green, blown, leaves, top and right, are distracting. Crop most of them out or desaturate/darken them.

Comment by JH:
Colours seem a bit muted/flat especially around the barn and the grass. The crop is top-heavy. I like the clouds.

I really like this one. The tones and colour are excellent. The tree on the left frames it all very nicely, and gives a good balance to the composition.

Have you tried a landscape crop? I think if you crop more off the top like alfresco said it would have more punch. Maybe even bump the saturation of the red and green up a tad and see what you get.
