Just to be different, I have to disagree about the cropping. I really like the way that the picture almost breaks down into layers (the field, the building, the lower part of the sky with the clouds and the topmost, cloudless part of the sky). I'd vote for leaving it uncropped, but brightening up the foreground and perhaps bumping the saturation in the sky.

Great DOF, too.

Wonderful old barn to photograph. Overall nice capture, but as previously noted, I would have to agree to crop down the sky a little, and bump up the color.

I have to echo the others sentiments about the crop. I think you could cut more off the top without losing the "high sky" effect you were going for. I would also bump up the color sat in the sky. It's a beautiful pastoral scene. I like the warm tones of the barn and foreground.

Agree with others to crop out the upper half of the sky. Then I'd try lightening it up a bit.

Colours seem a bit muted/flat especially around the barn and the grass. The crop is top-heavy. I like the clouds.

Have you tried a landscape crop? I think if you crop more off the top like alfresco said it would have more punch. Maybe even bump the saturation of the red and green up a tad and see what you get.

I like the lights and colors of the clouds. I would like to have seen more color depth out of the sky but that would have been difficult w/o a polarizing filter. I like the barn and the grasses. My opinion: a more powerful crop would be to lop off the top of the sky, at least down to the main set of clouds. Overall nicely done photo.
