Day 18 - Moon Riverby KenComment by cogerox: I took the same shot yesterday with my 18-200, but before sunset. Maybe I'll process it tonight and put it up as a comparison shot. Mine won't be nearly as detailed. I like the water refection.
Hey, Ken, did you let your wife take a picture of your brain? Cause... |

Day 18 - Moon Riverby KenComment by hajeka: Don't know nothing yet about the flood filter, but I can't imagine the moon floating on the water. It just looks wonderful. |

Week 06 - Caffe Tossiby KenComment by SandyP: I like how the architecture makes this look so nostalgic. Do you have any more pictures of the ice sculptures? I think those are so amazing -- and such a treat for a Texan who never sees it cold enough to keep ice in tact for 2 minutes.

Day 17 - Cold as Iceby KenComment by roz: absolutely stunning ken .. the most beautiful colours and scene .. love your focus .. so sharp on the foreground ice .. excellent perspective too ..
interested in the camera settings ..
firstly why iso 400 ??
& is that bracketing with the three shutter speeds ?? .. over-expose, neutral and under-expose ?... i'm thinking you could get the same result without a tripod if you shoot in raw & just process the one photograph three times with the different exposures ?? .. sorry to ask you all these questions, but you're getting the most amazing results in your photography/processing .. :) |

Week 06 - Caffe Tossiby KenComment by WalesP: Love the clarity and contrast which made the image jump right off the page when I first looked at it. I am unfamiliar with the steps for Transform Distort and the Nik Efex B&W filter. What are those? |
