Gabby.jpgby TheresaAComment by elemess: I also like the nontraditional lighting here, but would have preferred the hot spot on her face. As it is, my eyes go right to her bright red shoulder instead of her smile and garland in her hair. |

Friends.jpgby TheresaAComment by elemess: For bad lighting, this is a really good shot. You can see everything about their faces very clearly and can tell they're friends by their closeness. This is one for the family album, or at least for your mom to put in a frame and display in the living room. |

Boots.jpgby TheresaAComment by elemess: This is gonna sound weird, but for me what makes this shot is the sign on the right. Couldn't tell you why. I just like it. |

Today's News.jpgby TheresaAComment by elemess: The focus is really cool here - It's obviously a newspaper, but it could be just about any paper from any time. (Well, as long as the city starts with "San" anyway.) |

Sarah King Elementary.jpgby TheresaAComment by elemess: I like the processing for an elementary school (I don't think it would work as well on a high school). The dark mood of the colors fits your story well, too. |

We\'ve Got Rings 2.jpgby TheresaAComment by elemess: I have to agree about the diamond not being in focus, but I like seeing you in your husband's ring. And I like the texture in the tablecloth. |

Gabby.jpgby TheresaAComment by MelonMusketeer: Gabby looks very happy and as if she is proud that her mother cares enough to photograph a special time with her at her school. The unusual lighting with the one spot makes for a technically not right shot, but for some reason, it does not seem to matter with this image. I like the way the light falls off as it goes up across her face. It seems to add to the "live shot" effect, and strengthens the look of this being a capture of a moment to savor. |

Sister Night.jpgby TheresaAComment by MelonMusketeer: What a "happy time" snapshot. This is just a sweet little "slice of life" that you have shared with us. I like the tilt and frame for this shot. It looks like a shot in a photo album this way. |
