| For bad lighting, this is a really good shot. You can see everything about their faces very clearly and can tell they're friends by their closeness. This is one for the family album, or at least for your mom to put in a frame and display in the living room. |

This is a wonderful snapshot of companionship and human sharing. Older ladies are the glue that holds the world together.
I would love to see a photo of the dog shopping. : ) |

| Sounds like a great time and you ended up with a nice portrait of your mother and friend. When I take pictures of the kids and their friends are around I always try to get there friends too - one day they'll be fond memories for them (hopefully). |

i'm glad they had a great day ..
my mum started losing her sight in about the last 7 years of her life .. she had macular degeneration .. she was a very talented oil painter and i cant imagine how it was for her to gradually lose that precious gift .. anyway my heart goes out to your mom with her disability .. :) |
