I like the processing for an elementary school (I don't think it would work as well on a high school). The dark mood of the colors fits your story well, too. |

Theresa, this is a truly sad slice... My thoughts of courage go out to your friend's family. Thanks for sharing this with us: we all need to be reminded of being grateful from time to time... |

Theresa, what a heart breaking story. It certainly does make one realize what is important in life. The processing really lends itself to the sadness of such a story. |

So sorry to hear, Theresa. I think this was the same weekend that a Colonel I worked with the three years I was there shot and killed his girlfriend them himself (in San Antonio). The world is all to weird sometimes. I think this shot is a lovely tribute - I like the way it's dark, kinda sad. The posterization works well to convey a "preserved" kinda sense, too. |

This photograph takes on a whole new meaning when accompanied with the story. Perfect processing to match the emotion you are trying to evoke. May you take comfort that our thoughts are with you. |

I'm so sorry to hear of your friend's loss. Losing a child is an experience that is completely outside of my imagination.
Your photograph made my flash back to my old (1959) kindergarten report card; it looked just like this! Well, you know, different school and all. Very nice application of this technique. |

Theresa, I'm so sorry to hear about this tragedy. Your co-worker's family won't have an easy time with this, especially around the holidays. My thoughts are with you, your colleagues and the victim's family, too.
Wonderful photo with great processing. |

My thoughts & prayers are with you & the family, I couldn't imagine losing a child. It's too bad these sort of crimes are committed so often these days, I hope the one responsible gets what he deserves. |
