putting food on the tableby irishempressComment by glad2badad: Great subject. The guy is perfect for this shot! Couple of things holding back what could have been a tremendous shot; 1) the lighting is very harsh, 2) the image isn't focused as well as it should be, 3) maximize your real estate - use 640px on the long side for better detail.
The composition is very good, wonderful in fact... Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

max at 3by irishempressComment by ShannonLee: too bad he's not very cute ;o)
WHAT A STUD MUFFIN! Cool lighting! i'm not really diggin' the shadows... while i do like the composition with him to the right of the frame ... it might be less distracting if you went ahead a cropped it to 5x7 and get those shadows out of there... |

beach 5by irishempressComment by UNTITLED: I like the playfullness of the boy in this one. Also he really pops out as the subject with those muted tones of the surroundings. Don't care for how the horizon cuts through his head though. |

max on couch 1by irishempressComment by Melethia: He looks so serious in this one - I like the one where's he's laughing best. Lighting, composition, and setting are all excellent on these. Very good job! |

rainy day. city kid. 3by irishempressComment by SJCarter: I think this is probably my favorite of the three. Fantastic focus on him and I love the pose. I'd probably clone out the electrical outlet and possibly crop more off the left (to take him more out of the center and get rid of the left-hand shutters - I don't know how that would look, but might be worth trying). Great capture and very nice series. |
