Day No. 18by GermaineComment by Alicia: This is excellent. The processing makes this very interesting to look at. Subject is also awesome, especially given her pose of standing on the pedals. |

Day No. 18by GermaineComment by bimble: I sympathise on the bike front. The main street in my town regularly has scyclists up to 4 abreast trolling up and down. I'm a cyclist myself and half the time I'd cheerfully throttle them.
Nice trick with the B&W overlay, I hadn't heard of that before. Really like the result |

Day No. 17by GermaineComment by jonfrommk: I do like the motion blur but I have to say the thing that makes it for me is the varied and strong use of red in the frame with regards the cyclists top, the bikes frame, the curb the walls of the tyres and the rear reflector. The net effect is that your eyes leap about to each red point and that enhances the idea of movement

Day No. 17by GermaineComment by colorcarnival: I have no idea what IMNSHO means lol. What I really love about this is that the rims, the bike, the shirt, and the curb are all red. That is a really great catch! |

Day No. 15by GermaineComment by colorcarnival: The wood does do a nice job of framing! The color casts and the textures of the glass give it some kind of antique feeling. Have you done this in black and white yet? |
