Wk11_Seanby WalesPComment by SandyP: This is good! The lighting is nice, and I love the texture and detail in his face. The black and white processing really adds to the whole appeal of this one too. I can't imagine it being this cool looking in color.

Week 10: Kimberby WalesPComment by SandyP: Kimber is so pretty. I love how you have captured her attitude and the pretty highlights in her hair. You really connect with her looking at this photo.
I have one of those 50mm lenses. I love it too -- but I don't use it much for portraits because I have a hard time getting enough of the photo in focus.

Wk11_Seanby WalesPComment by Bud: A nice, clean portrait with flattering light. I like that that there is no glare spots on the subject. |

_DSC2790095a.jpgby WalesPComment by salmiakki: You really did do a good job converting this to B&W. I agree with Melethia, it does seem like it may not be straight. I like the angle of this shot. |

Week 10: Kimberby WalesPComment by salmiakki: I love the expression on her face - sort of long-suffering. I hope you enjoy the lens as much as I have. |

Tea For Oneby WalesPComment by jonfrommk: Styx one week, Zep the next!!!
I like the composition of the shot (hey upturned porcelain is very rock and roll) but it perhaps it is a little dark (imo) in places which mean that you lose the definition of some of the objects
I really liked the splash of colour of the disenboweled flower - nice touch |

Week 10: Kimberby WalesPComment by of-snow: Nice portrait. Very clear on her face but I noticed you've lost the focus on her left shoulder. It doesn't take from the shot at all though. Her eyes keep you focused on her more than anything else. Good job! |

Styx - As in the riverby WalesPComment by colorcarnival: Love the name, although I have to say I was like Jon, the band was the first thing that came into my mind when I saw STYX lol. Again, excellent job on the lighting. Love the gaze. The bell is a nice touch too. |
