siezing the moment is far more important than the technical quality of an image (which, I think is pretty nice here)..when it comes to shooting people.
This has nice light, and the image conveys an overall feeling.

I think a crop off of the left and the top somewhat though may help, great image though, I think it shoulda won.

Artistically speaking the other one has much more of a composition. This one has some spunk and movement, so they are different, yet both lovely. I gotta say, I do prefer the one of her looking out of the window.
