Companion piece to my shot "The Window".
Thought originally of putting it in the Free Study challenge, but not now that I used the other one, that would just be annoying.

I very much like them as companion pieces. Both have an incredible richness and vibrancy, and a timeless feel to them. Hopefully you're printing and hanging them as a set.

I like this at least as well as your blue. For me, your two pictures represent two paths to the universal. Your blue is universal via the iconic. This picture is universal via the individual. I like the personal path. She, as an individual, seems to be fighting against your iconic lighting (light through a window into a dark place). She is poised between darkness and light, but only because your camera stopped her motion. But we believe more in her and her motion than in you and your camera.

Very sweet. The picture speaks all about he innocent mentality of our children. Great great picture.

I have enjoyed looking through your work. You have an excellent knowledge about photography and light is the single most important factor and I think you use it to perfection. Fav Photog right now.

I wouldn't like to choose. I think they're both wonderful.

Artistically speaking the other one has much more of a composition. This one has some spunk and movement, so they are different, yet both lovely. I gotta say, I do prefer the one of her looking out of the window.

You are really good with using light and you have produced another wonderful shot. I am loving it.

I think I like this one better as well. Obviously more fluid, and the light play is very interesting.

This is precious, the lighting, the moment captured. How fragile life is and as humans at all ages, we tenatively explore our environment.

This photo shows just how rich a black and white can be.
