First off I truly enjoy this shot.

THEME: Meets the challenge.

FOCUS and LIGHTING: crisp focus and the lighting is ok. For stock I would've prefered a completely white background. It would make for a better sell as purity is of the essence in this category. The shadows behind the markers are somewhat distracting and take away from the purity of the photo. A second lightsource would solve this issue.

COMPOSITION: I think the cropping is perfect! I love the angle of the lines and the fact that they are perfectly straight. I wouldn't change a thing.

The photo is simple as it should be... it does miss a bit of WOW factor but that's the hardest part of photography IMO. I still have lots of problems with that!!! :-)

All in all, good job!

This is original, good capture! The grass looks a little too long for a golf course or were you caught in the rough? lol. I think it might be sharpened a little too much. Look at the "M" on the egg and you can see a little sharpness halo around it.

The black and white works excellent for this shot. It's very crisp and the focus is perfect. The title does help for those who don't see the subject. The offset of where you stood when you took this shot really adds to it. 10! - xertion
