Greatings from the CC club!
First off I truly enjoy this shot.
THEME: Meets the challenge.
FOCUS and LIGHTING: crisp focus and the lighting is ok. For stock I would've prefered a completely white background. It would make for a better sell as purity is of the essence in this category. The shadows behind the markers are somewhat distracting and take away from the purity of the photo. A second lightsource would solve this issue.
COMPOSITION: I think the cropping is perfect! I love the angle of the lines and the fact that they are perfectly straight. I wouldn't change a thing.
The photo is simple as it should be... it does miss a bit of WOW factor but that's the hardest part of photography IMO. I still have lots of problems with that!!! :-)
All in all, good job!

| I can't help but think this will do well. I wish there was a tiny bit more marker in the picture, though. |

| ooh i like this ... simple image ... straight (no pun intended) to the point ... heheh hmmm maybe it was intended ... i see this image large on a wall in a preschool or pediatricians office |

| This seems very similar to a photo that's been submitted here before... but I guess it's a common idea. I can see it working well as a stock photo. |

| Good use of diagonal lines and colorss. a simple but effective picture, the only thing that bothers me are the heavy shadows beyond the pens. 8 |

| I could see this image used in a textbook or a magazine. I think it has broad appeal for stock use because it could be used for so many possible themes. |

| A perfect stock image, as it has space for text, good contrast. The use of several colours makes usefull for diversity related uses, the straight line and sharp angles are great for business/service use, in some artsier places can be used as a frame fill image. Perfect a 10! |

| I think this is a strong concept for stock photography. The only issue i see with this shot is that it would probalby be stronger if the 'paper' was more pure white... good work :) - setzler |

Nice bright colors. I could see this on a birthday card or something. It's nice but it doesn't really grab me

| Very nice stock photograph. I would llike the lines sharp all the way down and the background whiter but it is a great idea and perfectly composed. |
