This is a shot of the columns leading up to the scene that goes completely around the Parthenon in Nashville, TN. It was built in the late 1800s to celebrate the Centennial of Tennessee and still stands there today. It is a life size replica of the Parthenon in ancient Greece.

CRITIQUE CLUB

Challenge: Meets the challenge very well. Really draws the eye up. I might suggest tighter cropping at the top, as your eyes keep going to the sky instead of "resting" on the titans.

Technique: Great angle, may want to consider getting down even lower for a dramatic effect. The black and white works well for this as it emphasizes the age. There is a little noise here, but nothing that detracts from the image.

Overall: I think a tight top crop and fixing the noise would make this an EXCELLENT photo!

Very nice architecture photo. All the lines lead to the "titans" Maybe a closer, looking up angle would have been more dramatic?

The black and white works excellent for this shot. It's very crisp and the focus is perfect. The title does help for those who don't see the subject. The offset of where you stood when you took this shot really adds to it. 10! - xertion

Ahh old buildings are fabulous for their lines and tones. The use of B&W really brings out the old feel in your image. Excellent perspective and technical aspects are great. GL.
