The Story of my Lifeby AlainComment by aliqui: This truly is a beautiful image. It's hard to believe that it's snow!
As I stared at it I remembered an old cd cover I made years ago. The image is actually clipart that was on some advertising cd with generic images.
Like a few others mentioned, I think part of the appeal is the gentle curve of what appears to be a woman's back. The softness of the edges add mystery and anonymity. I think it's possibly programmed in the human mind to find the curve of a woman's body soothing. |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by krnodil: This is about as perfect a wild animal shot as I can imagine - an excellent exposure. 10 |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by SaraR: I am completely awestruck by this. I have been watching some hares over the last few weekends, and despite spending several hours at a time, I haven't been able to get anywhere near this close. The exposure is spot on - and that given the technical difficulties of white on white! Absolutely superb. |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by silverscreen: Very nice and - and good control of highlights. But I wish you had cloned out that branch on the left...
I'll give you a 7 - would have been an 8 without the branch. |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by Pixelstate: Very Nice Shot. I am not sure about the inclusion of the twig on the left though. It distracts from the subject IMO |

Snowshoe Hareby AlainComment by Tiggr33: Very nice. I would maybe crop the branch out on the left, a little distracting and doesn't add to the photo. |
