Of course not an exact replica, but not too far either in spirit, I thought. Both in Rembrandt's painting and here, her face is lighted by the light reflected off the pages.
sorry my comment was so terse. in the painting it seems like there is a light source coming directly at the subject from behind the painter. I noticed it most on the hands but you can also see it under the eyes. In your photo these areas are completely dark.

In the painting the main light source is also up high in front of the woman as it is in mine (look at her nose), so as I said, the light on the rest of the face is mostly from the book. And that's why the area under the book is completely dark. Yes, my light was more directional, that's why there are sharper shadows on hands, and also Rembrandt's model is holding her hands in a slightly different way, more towards the light source, that's an oversight. But on the other hand (no pun intended), at the time I did not overly tried to make it an exact replica.
