Mirageby LevTComment by JunieMoon: Very nice technique in post processing. I like the black and white foreground and the colored island in the distance. Nice subject, too. Warm and fuzzy. |

Mirageby LevTComment by Melethia: This is great. I love the B&W foreground and the every so slightly colored distant "island". Beautifully done. |

Riderby LevTComment by Melethia: Sweet shot - love the reflections in the helmet and ever so slightly in the glasses. |

Riderby LevTComment by UNTITLED: This is very nice. The technicals are all dead on, but it seems more the intangibles that make this rather interesting. Some thing about the riders look/expression that blends very well with the tones of the photo. Well done! |

Mirageby LevTComment by Kavey: I'm not sure this needs selective desaturation, I think I'd prefer it without. But I really like the image itself, the portrait of this elderly couple in quiet conversation sitting infront of such a beautiful, almost timeless, view. |

Mirageby LevTComment by hughletheren: Maybe a slightly different viewpoint to square up the bench, otherwise an attracive idea. |

Mirageby LevTComment by macrothing: 8 - Good photograph. Some nice character elements, a few distracting ones, like the selective desat, but do wonder (if the clothing color suited) whether leaving the couple in color as well, may have made this even better, but your call - obviously. Judging by your title, perhaps you wanted the island to dominate/visually offset. |
