Arrivalby LevTComment by Jutilda: I was about to say "how in the world?" and then you explained it. WOW - that is such an interesting thought provoking shot. Love the perspective and line. Thanks for the explanation. I might have been up all night trying to figure out how that rock moved itself. LOL |

Dead woodby LevTComment by Bernard_Marx: Wow - that is sharp... and busy. My eye doesn't know where to settle. But technically it looks perfect to me - good job. |

*by LevTComment by Jutilda: Great shot. I'm a huge fan of the single figure with lots of neg. space. Nice thing is this has those patches of grass to give it texture! |

Stormy Earthby LevTComment by LevT: Marla,
this is not a blend of three different photos (I rarely do such tricks they usually feel fake) - this is a single shot of a real scene, just three conversions from RAW at different exposure values to capture the huge dynamic range. But thanks for the comment!
Originally posted by 2mccs: What a beautiful shot and a great blend of the 3 photos. I should have thought of that with the Badwater (salt formations) shot. I did do the HDR but I wish I had a better shot of the background mountains to blend with the foreground. Wonderful photo of an amazing part of the country |
