Winning Catchby tjbel05Comment by alanfreed: There's good potential here, but I would have cropped in MUCH tighter on the player making the catch. The crowd doesn't really add to the shot, and the opposing player is far enough out of the frame that I would have cropped him out, too. |

Winning Catchby tjbel05Comment by Kroburg: Nice action shot, I only find the background a bit too messy... a tighter crop might have been better. |

Sandys Wrathby tjbel05Comment by Neil: Commenting only: Great capture. Nits: Seems a bit oversharpened, with artifacts, and maybe too much contrast in spots. I think a general softening/glow would have worked here well, excluding the water in the center perhaps to leave it sharp. |

Sandys Wrathby tjbel05Comment by crowis: Don't know if this is just my monitor, but I dont' think so. . .seems to be a lot banding in thsi shot, as if there was a bad merge or hue/sat adjustment. Nice idea for a shot though. |

Saianby tjbel05Comment by blindjustice: I like the processing and the light is excellent. However, the composition doesn't utilize the best features of this model, the long torso, to the advantage of the final product. Perhaps a wider shot would allow the viewer to take in more of the model, without, as it is now, bouncing from her compelling face and eyes down to the hand and belt and then back again, never allowing focus or rest. A bit more of the scene and this would highlight more of the strengths of your image. |

Saianby tjbel05Comment by glad2badad: Senior portrait? Overall I like the lighting and background choice. However, two things that take away IMO are the fallen diagonal branches upper left, and the one bottom right (that mirrors the angle of her arm). Minus those, this would be elevated substantially more score-wise. |
