Yeah...I sent it to him so he could show me the potential it has. I feel like at times I completely go overboard editing and then other times I miss the mark totally (like this one). |

Excellent capture. I think that with a bit of specialized processing this would have taken the blue. You should ask Scalvert for some pointers on this. |

I though this was fabulous, it really looks like a shooting star that I see in real life and it has transferred to photo where as many others, including mine, do not look like yours. I am a first timer at shooting stars, but it looks like you have the Milky Way as well! |

Interesting composition, the brilliant meteor flashing across the upper right corner, almost an afterthought. Of course it's not, but it feels like a reminder that yes, the world is full of wonder. The glow of the Milky Way adds a subtle diagonal to the image. The trees work well as foreground, establishing scale and perspective. |

The only great capture of a Perseid in this challenge. Pity that it's cut off, and I wish you had brightened the scene to bring out the Milky way and foreground trees, but kudos for the best meteor of the bunch! |
