_MG_2182.jpgby srdanzComment by Mr_Pants: I like the composition and the sleepy expression. I would suggest blurring everything except for his head and the rock that his chin is resting on and then a small contrast boost via levels for his head. |

_MG_2195.jpgby srdanzComment by Mr_Pants: Perhaps a small levels adjustment for this. I lowered the grey point (if that's what it's called - the one in the middle), lowered the white point slightly and raised the black point a touch. Composition is fine and the background is blurred enough to remove distractions, yet not so blurred as to lose any sense of context. |

Try to warm it up a bit with a Velvia action or warming filter.

_MG_2166.jpgby srdanzComment by Mr_Pants: A slightly different take to ShutterPug, but I'd suggest a selective blur. i.e. all the area around the rhino. With judicious use of the opacity setting on the paintbrush when making your mask, you can make the blur less obvious around the outline of the rhino. |

_MG_2176.jpgby srdanzComment by Azrifel: Did you shoot this one RAW? If so, try to blend this one with one that has some negative exposure compensation done to it. Perhaps you can bring back some detail in his face that way and it could allow for some extra contrast. When you do that now it blows out the left even more. |

_MG_2163.jpgby srdanzComment by Mr_Pants: I agree with alexgarcia, although perhaps I'd take the levels adjustment just a tad farther. A little bit of sharpening works well, too, although I'm sure that some of the apparent softness here comes from the downsizing. |

Camelby srdanzComment by Mr_Pants: To me, the background looks a little too busy and intrusive, whereas the face looks cheeky and interesting. I'd suggest blurring just about everything except for the face and neck. |

_MG_2163.jpgby srdanzComment by alexgarcia: Nice portrait. I agree with ShutterPug.
IMO is a little bit "washed", maybe you should play a bit with levels to make the photo a little more contrasted in midtones. I made a quick post-editing of it (hope you didn't mind).

_MG_2195.jpgby srdanzComment by ShutterPug: Interesting bird. Maybe make it a little more sharp yet. Seems a little too dark in my mind also. |
