The Fridge in HDRby Pug-HComment by Ken: It also took me a second to realize that it was written in Japanese. Great collection of stuff.
I obviously haven't seen your original, but am curious why you gave it the pseudo-HDR treatment. |

Library Parkby Pug-HComment by wehrmacher: Well, I expect that was one of the more pleasant trips to the restroom. The reflections are interesting, but I am not sure they add much to the shot. I think that a polarizing filter in your kit would let you fix unfortunate reflections.
What a absolutely beautiful park and that is what this is all about. |

The Fridge in HDRby Pug-HComment by TCGuru: Wow, that is one heck of a fridge. Though, is there some weird reason that I can't read most of that? Might as well be written in Japanese :P
Interesting slice of life. |

Hypersaturationby Pug-HComment by annig: thhey are still so striking, I like the orange ones best and the way they come across the center of the frame in a diagonal
thhe leaves in the bg look almost 3D, give the image nice eye appeal

The Fridge in HDRby Pug-HComment by annig: you are a busy one!! great collections of colors and shapes & points of interest, very neat feel to this..
I have to LOL b/c at first I thought a lot of your fridge notes were in some kind of code where a symbol = a letter
then I realized, uh, DUH this is JAPAN and well, yes, symbols DO = letters..oh my!!
(the freezer door handle and the logo lettering might have also been a clue)
funny thing about the fridge door..we went stainless, and now nothing hangs on... 'cept the fingerprints! :) Message edited by author 2008-06-03 23:54:48. |

Hypersaturationby Pug-HComment by Germaine: Neat idea for the over saturation challenge. The problem with flowers is that you can't tell where the over saturation begins and the natural color leaves off. Be that as it may, I like the way the orangish daisies make an almost diagonal line through the shot. |

Library Parkby Pug-HComment by Pug-H: Originally posted by spiritualspatula: I don't know if it's because of the time of day this was taken but some of the colors look a bit muted... I would expect the flowers to pop more, so maybe a saturation adjustment or perhaps it's partly due to the time of day combined with the humidity and distance from subject (which plagues me even though I live in a dry climate!) that caused what almost seems to be haze. |
It was taken at 11 a.m. Remember, there is a pane of glass there which maybe what causes the haze you seem to be able to see. There's a white flowering tree, and the pink azaleas are reflected on the glass of the window. |
