I suggested a challenge for Oversaturation (or Supersaturation) which was largely ignored (so far). I got the idea looking at some of the camera magazines in the bookshop yesterday.
Obviously, flowers are a good subject for the process. I cranked up the sat on the RAW file, then wound down the green saturation in PSE.

Bright and bold, assuredly, yet still retains most of the detail very well!

When I saw the thumbnail I didn't think I'd like this, but the larger view pays off, once you accept they aren't supposed to look real. I like how they glow! Thanks for explaining the technique.

thhey are still so striking, I like the orange ones best and the way they come across the center of the frame in a diagonal

thhe leaves in the bg look almost 3D, give the image nice eye appeal

Neat idea for the over saturation challenge. The problem with flowers is that you can't tell where the over saturation begins and the natural color leaves off. Be that as it may, I like the way the orangish daisies make an almost diagonal line through the shot.

Excellent work. Over saturated yet still appealing.

Great job with the oversaturation, still looks very natural, yet very bright! :)

That's some intense saturation. The challenge may be fun, even if my eyes bleed afterwards!

I really like the colours here. Odd that some of them are red and some are yellow. Nice capture anyway.

Funniest part is...she WASN'T here yet in the 60's! :P I love the steroidal colors!! And you can still see the color blend from the red to orange to hot pink without losing detail. This is pretty cool...

Spray painting flowers...anything for the pic, I see! ;-) Seriously though...that's a pretty out of this world look with the turbocharged saturation!

Neon! I think the effect comes off best on the yellow flowers on the right. The little grouping in the upper right are especially cool.
