What goes up...by graphicfunkComment by markmyshots: Not sure i understand this photo...What goes up? its obviously takin on a dark table (hence the shadow)...not sure if you meant that you were trying to give the impression of open air or not.... |

The black background is great, but, I am not sure that I like the second color (blue) in front, I would have preferred all black. The lighting is perfect. My guess: he'd like an 8x10. What goes up...by graphicfunkComment by aaronb532: just a little more editing would have gotten rid of all detail in the background and made this a great shot! As is, it is pretty good and a great effort in a tough challenge. 8 |

Lots of wonderful leading lines, cheeks, arms, shirt folds, makes a nice flow for the viewers eyes. lighting is a bit harsh and I find the cloth under his elbows distracting. also that dip in his next commands too much attention, soften it out? |
