To me, this is more of a portrait than an abstract. It's a very nice portrait too. Great focus, lighting and angle. Shows great detail in this guys face. While I think it's a good image, I'm gonna have to say it's a horrible 'abstract' which is what we're looking for in this challenge. ~Heather~

I can't really tell what this is a statue of. The sun flare in the top left is very distracting. Is the statue reaching for the sky? If so, a different view point to simplify the background would have helped. The tall building just gets in the way unless you intended to frame the statue so she looked the same height as the building. Forced perspective can be fun but it only works when the background isn't distracting.

This is the closest to 'serendipity" that i've seen for this challenge... to me it should be a capture of something you stumbled upon. i have 3 that do this in my house, too.
