beautiful working essay twists into a ghost story. what's not to like about this?

I enjoyed the cumulative effect of the bamboo texture in photo after photo.

Beautifully told story. I have occasion to walk by a bamboo grove (right here in Sacramento) and I can never pass it without thinking of your photograph "...and run". I bet now when I pass the bamboo I will think of your smiling woman. This is another remarkable essay. The blending of the two images in your tetraptych is a perfect ending.

one must always stop and think for a moment when looking at shadows from above, and this is no exception. I like the separation between the wavy and calm water by the pier.
