I like this but I can't put my finger on what intrigues me. Maybe the contrast of the realness of the foreground flower with the mottled surreal background.

Nice graphic simplicity and sharp focus on the filament. Diagonal orientation seems appropriate. I like the yellow-orange and blue, which have associations with light bulbs I have seen. The green is an acceptable artistic choice, but I would have liked less of the green arc, mostly because of my own bias and experience. Nevertheless, one of the higher scores from me.

Ahh! finally. :) So far most of the images that have nothing but a simple light-bulb for a subject, like this, have been pretty boring. This however, is well-done; the vibrant color adds a great deal of interest. Excellent work.
