Well, I'm pleased to see that the vast majority of the votes on this one were 5's--right smack dab in the middle. I knew the subject of this shot was probably going to be difficult to sell, and I think I've learned a lot from the commentators. The shot is clearly overexposed--beyond effectiveness, I think--and its a little blurry. I sincerely appreciate everyone's opinions, and we'll keep on pluggin'. Practice is what this is all about for me...learn what works and what doesn't.

Personally, I'm bustin' about just breaking the 5.0 mark with this one.

You've used the most basic ability of the camera to your advantage here, and it's great. I've seldom seen deliberate overexposure work this good. Nice job. I'd just like to see better image quality and maybe better color.

b&w is not a good choice for this, it would have been a little better in color. Higher aiming of the camera leaving the light at the bottom outside the frame would have made this simpler and much better. 2 from me, happy new year and good luck.

i assume you tweaked the color on purpose, but it just appears to be a bad color image to me.
