Cute scene, I like the use of BW. As far as improvements, I think the cropping should have been done higher on her legs so it looks more natural, its one of those things where you need to make sure and include all of her legs or cut them more towards a mid point away from the joints.

The expression on the little boy's face is truly all boy. I can see his thought processes as he looks at the web shooting out of his hand, "COOL!" Yeah, Mom's not going to like this but this is so coooooollllllll! :-) A fun image. My critique is that I wish the backdrop was not so plain and had some connection to the boy and action going on...maybe his room and him shooting his web to pick up a toy on the floor. Just something that would complement the subject and action going on.
